So Melissa is keeping a binder full of medical bills. There has to be a couple hundred, seems like one for every blood draw. The best one came in the other day and we just opened it, it's the bill for 8 1/2 weeks room and board in the ICU down in Indy. I'll let you guess how much it was.
A.) $150,000
B.) $300,000
C.) $450,000
D.) $968,089.30
I looooooove insurance right now.
*edit* Hint: the first three answers are incorrect.

I hope you're going to post the answer tomorrow. My guess is "not A or B!"

I was going to guess D - and not just because it was the only choice with change listed! :) So, roughly $16,134.82/night... What a steal! Lol!
ReplyDeleteSo, moral of the story, you're not quite a million-dollar man. Nice try though.
ReplyDelete:-) Can't wait to see you this weekend!!

I'm with Kim, seeing as how a standard room at the Cleveland Clinic's pediatric oncology suite runs about $7,000. I'm guessing $16,134.82 per night sounds about right. Once you add in all of the machines and specialists with lack luster bed side manners, you are well on your way!
ReplyDeleteJust glad you are home now and can focus on getting strong enough to finish your treatments!
I know a guy very well who got a heart transplant at about 1.75 million, seems like he's catchable.
ReplyDeleteIf you have blue cross I'm happy to donate 200 bucks a month plus whatever my employer puts in for my single and thankfully generally unused insurance.
Keep up the good work,

ReplyDeleteEric, I think you should go get a new car of at least $31,910.70 value to round out the million dollar man. Just put it on your tab.
